Ultraspire Basham Race Vest - Lightweight, Sweat-Proof, Bounce Free

The Basham Race Vest, engineered from the specifications of professional Ultrarunner Amanda Basham, features her very specific requirements to tackle the most prestigious races. Its defining characteristic is its incredibly small footprint, reducing weight and increasing heat dissipation. Despite its size, it can carry up to 2 bottles and other accessories.

The pack includes an UltraFlask 550 Hybrid Bottle that fits horizontally in the insulated compartment, with room for an alternative bottle in the upper quick stash pocket. The quick stash pocket, made from 4-way stretch mesh, maximizes capacity and features a magnetic closure to keep contents secure yet accessible. An additional quick stash pocket on top of the insulated bottle compartment remains functional even when the inner pocket is full.

The pack utilizes our new UltrAcool Light Mesh, with narrow shoulder straps, on the go access pockets, and the ability to carry a large cell phone. Adjustment straps ensure a perfect fit, making it suitable for most individuals. The ergonomically designed pack enables precise movement, contact, and weight distribution, ensuring no inhibition to the body's biomechanics.

The Max 02 Sternum feature ensures unrestricted breathing while maintaining pack stability using shock cord with good stretch and rebound. The lightweight, sweat-proof, and bounce-free design incorporates moisture-wicking mesh, sweat-proof webbing, and easy-to-use zipper pulls. It is compatible with 2 UltraFlask 550ml bottles (not included), but not with a reservoir.
